Margaret's yoga journey started long ago...
She was a yoga practitioner for well over a decade before she decided to deepen her practice through her first 200-hour registered yoga teacher training (RYT200) in 2013. Since then, she has continued in her commitment to growth and learning by completing 2 additional RYT200 programs and has been certified as an Aerial yoga teacher and RAD Yoga teacher (Myofascia Release). In 2017, she certified in Primordial Sound Meditation through the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA. This training opened Margaret's mind and heart to the practice of meditation.
When Margaret's not at Yogaja, you can find her with family, friends, Fred, or her adorable dogs, Plum and Spud. She loves to connect with nature, travel, cook, read and LAUGH.
One of her favorite quotes is something that is repeated often at the Chopra Center: "Where attention goes, energy flows." She firmly believes that we all have the seed of joy planted within us; we just need to learn how to help it grow.
