Interested in Becoming a 200 Hour
LYT Certified Instructor?

BECOME A MOVEMENT TEACHER WHO UNDERSTANDS NOT ONLY WHAT TO TEACH, BUT WHY WE TEACH IT!

LYT Method is a modern approach to yoga rooted in anatomy, backed by science through physical therapy principles and functional movement. Developed by physical therapist, Lara Heimann, LYT bridges the gap between traditional yoga and contemporary movement science. The results are practitioners who move with more efficiency, build strength, reduce pain, and improve longevity.

At Yogaja, our 200-hour LYT Teacher Training is designed for both aspiring teachers, dedicated students, and already certified yoga instructors who want to gain a deeper understanding of how the body works. Our instructors graduate with the tools, not only to enhance their own movement practice and habits, but offer private sessions to a wide demographic. Our training provides you with the tools to confidentially guide people through movement in a way that is intelligent, accessible, and sustainable.

WHEN IS THE NEXT TRAINING?
FALL WEEKDAY TRAINING SCHEDULE

Our Fall 2026 is uniquely structured to support those with busier weekends and flexibility during the weekdays.

Training will meet in-person on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during designated weeks.

The first three weeks will be our most intense, and therefore, meet for three consecutive weeks. From there, we will follow a one week on, one week off schedule as follows:

  • October 7-9

  • October 14-16

  • October 21-23

  • November 4-6

  • November 18-20

  • December 2-4

  • December 16-18

  • January 6-8

  • Graduation Classes: Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24

In addition to our in-person meetings, our trainees will also be required to watch approximately 30 hours of anatomy lectures, movement labs, and flow breakdowns videos from LYT Method Founder and Creator, Lara Heimann.

The weeks between our in-person meetings are not simply to watch videos; they are an essential part of our learning practice. We consider these our integration weeks. During these weeks, trainees will commit to:

  • Attending 3 LYT classes (as students)

  • Observing/shadowing 1 LYT class every week (as a trainee)

  • Complete assigned LYT Method videos

  • Complete assigned readings/journaling

  • Work on practice teaching assignments

Learning how to teach movement isn't something that happens in our in-person meetings, instead, it happens through our own practice, repetition, observation, and experience. We also require 25 hours of peer meetings and practice teachings throughout.

LYT Method is a style of yoga that we must learn and feel in our own bodies if we are to effectively teach it to others.

Who Is This Training For?

  • Dedicated yoga practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of the science behind movement

  • Aspiring yoga or movement teachers

  • Existing 200-hour and 500-hour certified instructors looking for an anatomy intense training

  • Fitness professionals looking to expand offerings
