Meditation: A Powerful Tool to Reduce Stress

In today’s fast-paced world, meditation offers a much-needed respite. At Yogaja Yoga, our meditation practices help you cultivate mindfulness and focus, allowing you to manage stress and anxiety more effectively. Meditation has been scientifically proven to lower cortisol levels, improve emotional resilience, and enhance overall mental clarity. Whether you’re preparing for exams or simply need a break, our meditation classes provide a calm, supportive space for relaxation and renewal.

Yogaja Yoga Toledo Meditation Classes:


Breathe, Move, Meditate: Monday-Friday 6:15 AM to 7:00 AM, Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM

By taking 45 minutes first thing in the morning to move and stretch the body, do pranayama (breath work) and then meditate, you will receive the benefits of this practice throughout your day. Each class will be:

  • 25 min of stretching and movement to open your body

  • 5 min of pranayama to open your energy channels

  • 15 min of meditation to connect to consciousness

Flowt, Move, Meditate: Friday 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM, Sunday 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM

Life as a student can be demanding, and our restorative yoga classes are the perfect antidote to a busy schedule. These gentle, relaxing sessions use props and long-held poses to help your body release tension and your mind find peace. Restorative yoga not only aids in stress reduction but also promotes better sleep and overall balance in your life. It's an ideal way to recharge and restore your energy for the week ahead.
