Michelle grew up a dancer and has been practicing yoga for more than a decade. She studied yoga and dance in NYC with master teachers. She was amazed at how the practice of yoga alleviated the stresses of city living and helped bring a sense of balance to her life.
In 2014, she moved back to Toledo and began to dig deeper into the practice. Michelle earned her 200-hour teaching certification in early 2015 at Yogaja Yoga. Shortly after, she certified in Aerial Yoga and then became the only certified bodyART teacher in the area. Michelle is proud to have completed her 500-hour training at the Himalayan Institute. Most recently, she received extended training in myofascial release.
Outside of Yogaja, she works as a General Manager at a fitness studio in Ann Arbor. She hopes that you leave her classes feeling refreshed and nourished with a deeper connection to yourself.
