Kyle started practicing yoga several years ago as part of his recovery from drugs and alcohol, and he found that while yoga is a perfect physical complement to running and weight lifting, it challenges him spiritually in a way that the other forms of exercise do not.
His continued sobriety is crucial to him, and Kyle has found that a consistent yoga practice is helpful in creating balance and maintaining his physical and emotional health.
Kyle works at a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation center where he enjoys supporting others on their journey to recovery from substance abuse. He is an avid fan of music and has a special place in his heart for classic rock and folk music. He enjoys singing and playing guitar at local coffee shops and events around the area.
Completing his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yogaja Yoga in the winter of 2019, Kyle is currently hosting a recovery-based class at Yogaja Downtown on Saturdays. Kyle hopes to offer support to others who may be looking to enrich their lives with yoga.
